About Aileen Ireland

I am a PhD researcher in Education Studies, in the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Stirling. In my research, I am explore the use of simulated human patients in medical education, focusing on the ways in which knowledge is mobilised within this particular pedagogy. My research has been funded by a scholarship from the Scottish Graduate School of Social Science, home to the ESRC Doctoral Training Centre for Social Science.
